sim.zip for AI agents

One MCP server, the whole store: an assistant looks up destinations and plans, creates the order and hands its human the payment link — the human always makes the payment, and the eSIM lands in their email within seconds.

The server

URLhttps://sim.zip/mcp
TransportStreamable HTTP (stateless: JSON-RPC over POST, SSE responses)
AuthenticationNone. The catalogue is public and an order only matters once the buyer pays at its payment_url; the same per-IP rate limits as the REST API apply.

Tools

Each tool is the matching REST operation — same behaviour, same limits. The API reference has the full response schemas.

ToolWhat it doesInputs
list_destinations Destinations on saleEvery country sim.zip sells eSIM data plans for, with plan counts and the slug the other tools take. none
get_plans A destination's plansThe prepaid data plans for one destination, with sizes, validity and prices (GBP; EUR and USD cost the same). Slugs are case-insensitive. country — The destination slug from list_destinations, e.g. albania
list_regions Multi-country regions on saleRegions (Europe, Asia, …) whose plans cover many countries with one eSIM. A region is its own product: its plans never appear under a country. Pass a region slug to get_region_plans, or as create_order's country. none
get_region_plans A region's plansThe prepaid data plans of one region, each listing every country it covers. Slugs are case-insensitive. region — The region slug from list_regions, e.g. europe
create_order Buy an eSIM for the userCreates the order and returns payment_url. The agent cannot pay — it gives payment_url to the human, who pays there with card, Apple Pay or Google Pay; the eSIM goes to their email within seconds. country — Destination slug — a country's, or a region's for a multi-country eSIM
plan_id — A plan id from get_plans
email — The buyer's email — the eSIM is delivered there
qty (optional) — How many eSIMs, 1-5 (default 1)
coupon (optional) — A promo code, if the user has one
order_status Order statusWhether the order is paid and delivered; once delivered it includes each eSIM's activation code. token — The order token from create_order

Anything else

Any MCP client that speaks Streamable HTTP works, as does plain REST: the same operations live at https://sim.zip/api/v1 with the OpenAPI document at https://sim.zip/api/openapi.json.
